I think our cat is getting bored part way through her meals and so abandons them. Do you think something like this is worth a try? We can get her to eat when we turn it into a game but shes not a out it when its just plainly in a bowl.
Thank you. I just adopted a 1 year old cat and she eats so fast that she then tries to steal my other cat’s food before he finishes. It helps if I mush her food all over the plate but I thought a slow feeder mat will work even better. I am going to try the mats you recommended. Cheers!
My cat Baby enjoys her puzzles. I switch between 2 puzzles every week. Theyre the kind that require her to push a pod around to a hole that releases the snack, with harder dtawers that require her to pull open a drawer by using a string or dogging it open with her paws. I was shocked when she learned to use puzzle feeders so quickly. I got her a Catit rolly polly mouse treat dispenser that is difficult for her to use as she must push the mouse around to release a treat.
I have a scarf ‘n barf and a nibble ‘n graze! Automatic feeder helps but I found small glass cubes in a floral department that I put in the s’n b’s bowl. 3 with dry and 1 with wet. Works! But I still have to guard with dry food! Lol
I had a cat that LOVED the doc and phoebe toys. He went nuts for them.
