How to Keep Indoor Cats HAPPY

I’m a big believer in keeping cats indoors. They will live longer, healthier lives. PERIOD. There are many who believe that cats cannot be happy if they are deprived of the outdoors – that is simply untrue. That said, there are definitely simple things you can do to enrich their lives and maximize their Mojo while keeping them safely inside. In this video I detail essentials for a happy and full indoor cat life.

  1. Hi a question what do you think about self cleaning litters? And if you are going to use them what age is best to start? I’m getting a 12 week old kitten in oktober. Of course I’m not starting with that and I will have a normal litter box too. And what do I need to start doing about safety around my home? I live in an apartment third floor in Sweden, she will be an indoor cat and I have a whole glas balcony .

  2. My cat is an orange tabby. He was in the heat and I am considering neutering him and I am trying to rehome him. At one point he looked like he wanted to catch birds. How can I train him to hunt for himself. He is a picky eater which makes me think it is safest for him to be at home. Please advise. Whenever I had him adopted, he would start urinating outside of the litter box and was brought back to my home. I am not sure if he is spaying but any room he is in smells bad.

  3. All of our Windows in our Apartment are not see through except the Kitchen (wich is off limits) and the room of my Roommate (who is not the best with Cats). We try to open the windows frequently and added nets (the ones for insects) without leaving the cat out of sight.

  4. Hello from Norway. I have a Siberian cat who is indoors/outdoors as she pleases. She is neutered, chipped and always wear a GPS so I can follow her on my iPhone. She loves the outdoors, catches a lot of mice. We live on a farm, so I feel pretty safe for her. I have had cats for 30 years, and only one of them was killed by a car. I believe she is most happy living like this. 🐱

  5. Ive grown up watching you my whole life and have recently adopted 2 kitten littermates both female at the end of this week they will be turning 5 weeks old, they are named Vervada and Freya, both are fed 3 times a day as im a remote Programer and we have one of the most lovable toypoms as my mom and he 2 years old is so lovable and gentle but weve kept indroductions short with a big engough sperator space for both, 3 litterboxes toys perches scraching boxes and posts and play times early mornings and evenings before breakfast and dinner coudles and letting them play by them selves while im busy and soft foods in the mornigs soften kitten kibble with water as they just saterted drinking water today. So thank you for all the advice and now ill enjoy the video.
